This week in kindergarten...
We learned about the letter S. This was a very tricky letter to print! Ask your child to tell you some things that begin with the /s/ letter sound.
We did some exploring outdoors! S is for SNOW!
We're learning to recognize and honour that each of us has our own unique gifts and talents. Children were so excited to share what their SUPERPOWERS are.
We learned many interesting facts about our bones. S is for SKELETON! Ask your child if they can identify the following parts of their skeleton: skull, hips, ribs, spine. Do you know how many bones are in your body? Do you know what part of your body has the smallest bone? Hint: it's the size of a grain of rice! Ask your child!
Centre time this week had us making patterns, designing pumpkins, brewing potions and many other fun things.
Just a friendly reminder that children are asked not to wear their costumes to school on Monday. They're welcome to wear orange and black if they would like. We also ask that you please refrain from sending in any sort of shared food treats. Thank you!
Have a very wonderful weekend!
