This week in kindergarten...
We continued to monitor and water our seeds each day, eagerly watching and waiting for the first sign of roots!
The children were excited to share stories and draw pictures about their long weekends.
We continued to learn about 3D shapes and had fun attempting to make some of our favourites out of plasticine. At this point, we have been exploring and sorting spheres, cones, pyramids, cylinders, and cubes.
We're working on a very special collaborative piece of art to be auctioned off for the school playground fundraiser. I can't wait to share more about this with you SOON!
The afternoon class lucked out to a sunny afternoon of snowman-building! This was MAGIC!
We celebrated Earth Day and learned about small, simple actions we can take to help the earth. Every little bit counts! Kindergarteners are masters of turning trash into treasures and LOVED exploring our new centre filled with recycled goodies.
And lastly...here are some fun centre time shots from our time together this week!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Love,
Miss Roberts
