A Week of Wonder

We had such a beautiful week together! The sun is shining, our seeds have begun to sprout, and we've got some very special and super-secret projects underway! We've also been learning about life cycles, caterpillars and butterflies!

In math this week we learned about symmetry, created some patterned caterpillars, and continued our investigation and understanding of 3D solids. We're becoming more confident naming these shapes and the kiddos are starting to point them out throughout the day. "Miss Roberts! This banana is like a cylinder!" Try having your child do a shape hunt at home to see what spheres, cubes, cones, cylinders, pyramids and rectangular prisms they can find :)

Here are some snapshots from our week...

What sinks? What floats?

My caterpillar is going to turn into THIS butterfly...

We found out our mystery eggs were goose eggs.

Have a wonderful weekend! Mrs. Planden will be in on Monday next week. I'll see you all on Tuesday.

Love,
Miss Roberts
