We received a very exciting package in the mail this week from another kindergarten class in Lacombe, Alberta! They heard about the work we have been doing to spread kindness and decided to send us a very special gift that included a beautiful secret message. We feel so fortunate to have connected with these new amazing friends.

 

We also heard about some kindergarteners in Ontario who are beginning to explore kindness in their classroom. Children decided that they would like to send them a Beginner's Guide to Becoming a Kindness Ninja to share some of what we have learned this year and spread our kindness beyond Alberta! Stay tuned for our continued work on this secret mission.

 

 

Students are continuing to be deeply engaged in their new science centers. There has been a lot of interest in the topic of marine biology so we have decided to investigate this further. This week, students did some thinking around what they know about the ocean and began to develop questions around what they would like to learn more about. We will dive deeper into our study of the ocean next week.
