We created our final self-portraits of the year, working towards drawing with shapes and adding more detail to our portraits. No more stick people! Yaaay!!!
We had a science-filled week of fun! Students were introduced to what a scientist does and spent time thinking about what kind of scientist they would like to be.
Our special guest, Scientist Dana, was absolutely wonderful with the students. She brought many exciting hands-on activities for us to engage in. The program, I Can Be A Scientist, gave students the opportunity to explore astronomy (ask about the tent!), paleontology, marine biology, meteorology and chemistry. We had so much scientific fun! Thank you to our AMAZING volunteers who helped to make this day an incredible success.
