We had a wonderful week of of learning to drum! The children LOVED their experiences with the incredible Roger from One World Drumming. We look forward to sharing a few of the exciting things we've learned with you at our assembly on Friday.

We returned to our special memory drawings from last week and spent time sharing these with each other. We are learning about the importance of s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g out our personal stories in order to communicate each special memory with detail. They were so animated and enthusiastic when sharing their stories with one another.

We added some acrylic paint to make our drawings pop! Paint pens are the BEST!

The hard work we have put into learning letters has paid off and these kindergarteners have become superstar writers! They each dove into their very own personal journal this week and spent time writing and drawing about anything they wanted. Many students started writing sentences for the very first time! PROUD TEACHER MOMENT!!  Ask your child what they drew in their journal. Some students even wrote entire stories. Wowza!

We started learning some floor hockey skills in the gym this week and had a lot of fun visiting Ms. O in the library.

Have a beautiful weekend everyone! I feel very fortunate to spend my days with your little ones.

Just a few more...
